Work has begun on what to do after the signing of Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries. Draft Action Plan prepared by KOSGEB submitted to Angola delegation

As part of the Memorandum of Understanding on SMEs signed between Turkey and Angola, KOSGEB will share the knowledge and experience of SMEs and entrepreneurs in promoting their share in economic and social development with the National Institute for the Support of Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM).

A set of agreements were signed between the two countries following the one-on-one and inter-delegation talks between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Angola President Joao Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço at the Presidential Complex yesterday.

In this context, Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank and Angolan Minister of Economy and Planning Sergio de Sousa Mendes dos Santos signed the Memorandum of Understanding between KOSGEB and INAPEM in attendance of KOSGEB President Hasan Basri Kurt.

In the scope of the Memorandum of Understanding signed in the presence of President Erdoğan and Lourenço, economic and trade cooperation between the SMEs of the two countries will improve.

In this context, KOSGEB will share its knowledge and experience in increasing its share in economic and social development with INAPEM by enabling SMEs and entrepreneurs to reach an innovative, technological and competitive structure.

Execution of Expert Exchange

Training programs for SMEs and entrepreneurs and expert exchange programs can be executed so as to share best practices as regards SME support mechanisms.

In order to promote the bilateral trade volumes of the SMEs of the two countries, mutual business trips can be organized, and KOSGEB and INAPEM will be able to inform each other about business opportunities related to SMEs in their regions.

Cooperation with 90 Institutions Abroad

With the Memorandum of Understanding signed by KOSGEB with INAPEM, the number of institutions KOSGEB cooperates with abroad has reached 90.
