Supporting European SMEs to Participate in Public Procurement outside EU Call Training Completed

Under COSME 2020 Work Programme Supporting European SMEs to participate in public procurement outside EU Call is opened and accepting applications. On 27-28 July 2020, a general and focused group training conducted for the open call online. The call aims European SMEs to get benefit from the trade agreements made between the EU and non-EU countries. Those non-EU countries is identified as target countries by the Call and it is expected that SMEs will reach to new markets in that target countries.

The two-day call training opened by Head of KOSGEB EU and Foreign Relations Department Mr. Necati Günaydın. During the opening speech, Mr. Günaydın gave a brief speech and said that the call provides new opportunities to those SMEs that want to strengthen their capacity in non-EU countries. Following the opening speech, Director of the EU Coordination Department Ms. Pınar Işın presented the COSME Programme’s general structure and features.

During the first day of the training, trainer Ms. Yeliz Çuvalcı informed participants about establishing consortium, preparation of work packages, planning of the project budget. On the second, the project documents and its annexes is filled together with the participants and their questions arose during this process answered in detail by the trainer.
