Between the Tatarstan Republic Entrepreneurship Development Fund and KOSGEB, Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in the field of SMEs was signed by KOSGEB President Prof. Dr. Cevahir Uzkurt and Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Dr. Farid Abdulganiev.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnihanov and Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekçi attended the signing ceremony which held on 26th April 2018 at the Ministry of Economy.

Before the signing ceremony, Minister Nihat Zeybekci said “We want to increase the number of Turkish investors in Tatarstan and we support the idea of establishing an organized industrial zone for Turkish investment in Tatarstan”. He pointed out that one-third of Turkey's investments in Russia is in Tatarstan. He also expressed that a business forum will be made with Rüstem Minnihanov in Istanbul and they aim to strengthen business cooperation between the two countries and increase trade volume and investments.
