A memorandum of understanding was signed between President of KOSGEB Dr. Cevahir Uzkurt and General Manager of Cambodia Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Handicrafts Pheng Hort. A memorandum of understanding was signed between the two institutions during the Turkey - Cambodia (JEC) meeting.

Relations with South Asian countries

KOSGEB develops its relations with South Asian countries. After the visit of the Sri Lankan ambassador to KOSGEB, relations with Cambodia, another country from the south of Asia, became concrete.

Ministers Accompanied

"The Second Turkey - Cambodia JEC meeting" was held in Ankara on dates of 17-18 October 2019. Within the framework of the JEC meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between KOSGEB and its Cambodian counterpart. The memorandum of understanding was signed between President of KOSGEB Dr. Cevahir Uzkurt and General Manager of Cambodia Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Handicrafts, Pheng Hort and Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli and Minister of Commerce of Cambodia Sorasak Pan accompanied to this event.

Sharing Knowledge and Experience

The memorandum of understanding will enhance economic and commercial cooperation between SMEs in the two countries. The SMEs of the two countries will be able to increase their competitiveness in the global market and exchange information and experience. Programs will be organized to train experts among the institutions.
