Turkey and Serbia will go to cooperation in the context of SMEs. KOSGEB signed a memorandum of understanding with its Serbian counterpart, the Serbian Development Agency (RAS).

Cooperation Council

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, went to Serbia to attend the second meeting of "Turkey-Serbia High Level Cooperation Council". Welcomed by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, President Erdogan held a ceremony after the co-operation council meeting on the signing of agreements between the two countries.

A memorandum of understanding was signed between President of KOSGEB Prof.Dr. Dr. Cevahir Uzkurt and RAS President Rados Gazdic. President Erdoğan and his Serbian counterpart, Vuçic, accompanied KOSGEB President Uzkurt and RAS President Gazdic during the exchange of the memorandum of understanding.

Expert Exchange Programs

With the Memorandum of Understanding, the two institutions will exchange information on policies, measures and practices aimed at supporting SMEs. KOSGEB and RAS, which will share experiences for SME-oriented activities, will organize expert exchange programs to improve cooperation.

Information and Experience Exchange programs

The parties will organize mutual business trips to improve the commercial relations of SMEs and promote joint ventures, while sharing information about business opportunities related to SMEs. The two institutions will also organize training and information programs for SMEs and organizations related to SMEs.

Action Plan

The details of the cooperation between the two countries in the context of SMEs will be determined within the scope of an action plan to be agreed and signed between KOSGEB and RAS.
