Ahmet Serdar İbrahimcioğlu, who made a great contribution to Turkey's technology ecosystem with the projects he carried out with an innovative perspective in his career and positions in the fields of entrepreneurship, technology and innovation, graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Department of Mechanical Engineering in 2008. He ventured into the manufacturing sector during his university years. Starting working in the construction sector after graduation, İbrahimcioğlu worked as a manager in industrial facilities, art buildings and housing projects.

In 2012, as a technology entrepreneur, he participated in the incubation center supported by KOSGEB and MÜSİAD (Independent Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association) . He worked on “Real Estate Valuation in Sustainable Buildings” at the Department of Civil Engineering Building Management, Yıldız Technical University Institute of Science and Technology in 2013.

İbrahimcioğlu, who served as Technical Manager and Assistant General Manager at Yıldız Technical University Technopark, completed his second master’s degree at Bahçeşehir University, Department of Business Administration with the thesis “Bilişim Sektöründe Teknolojinin Planlanması (Planning of Technology in the Sector of IT)” in 2019. İbrahimcioğlu, who became the General Manager of Bilişim Vadisi (Technology Development Zone) in November 2018, continues his Ph.D. studies and dissertation titled “Kriz ortamlarında Teknoloji odaklı Sanayinin Dayanıklılık Kapasitesinin Araştırılması (Examining the Resilience Capacity of Technology-oriented Industry in Crisis Situations)” at Gebze Technical University, Department of Business Administration.

İbrahimcioğlu, who is a member of the Board of Trustees of Yıldız Technical University Foundation and the Board of Bilişim Vadisi, took part in the establishment and committee processes of the Bilişim Vadisi Venture Capital Investment Fund in 2020 and the 4th Venture Capital Investment Fund in 2022.

İbrahimcioğlu, who is the president of the Brussels-based Innovation and Technology Association, conducts lobbying activities for Turkish technology entrepreneurs to take more part in international projects.

İbrahimcioğlu contributes to the Turkish game development ecosystem with Dijital Oyun ve Animasyon Geliştirme A.Ş. (Digital Game and Animation Center), of which he is the Chairperson of the Executive Board. He also continues to work for our country and especially young people to benefit more from the global digital economy.

İbrahimcioğlu is a keynote speaker at universities and national and international events within the scope of the National Technology Move, sustainability, digital transformation of industry and investment funds.

Ahmet Serdar İbrahimcioğlu, who served as the General Manager of Bilişim Vadisi for approximately 5 years, was appointed as the President of KOSGEB with the decision of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan dated October 6, 2023.

İbrahimcioğlu, who speaks English fluently, is married and has three children.
